Walk with him through the busy streets of Kottbusser Tor and Kreuzkölln, hearing his personal story and learning about the Turkish communities in Berlin. Tales of Turkey’s history and the waves of migration to Germany open up a conversation on coexistence and what it takes to nurture a peaceful atmosphere in a diverse city. This tour combines history, culture, and personal experiences. It touches on nation-building, urbanization, grassroots initiatives, culinary traditions, commercial life, activism, and multilingualism.
