The tour starts at Olivaer Platz, goes along Kurfürstendamm and Adenauerplatz to Henriettenplatz.

Born in (West) Berlin, Susanne has known Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf since her childhood, when Kurfürstendamm still marked the border between the then two districts. From an early age, she commuted between the world of sophisticated life with art, culture and luxurious stores along the Ku’damm, but also visible poverty — not only in the side streets. She financed her professional training by working in both disreputable bars and dignified restaurants, and later worked in renowned law firms. On her tour, Susanne talks about the right to housing, social housing and real estate speculation, cultural participation and poverty in old age. About how homelessness can affect anyone. And how it feels to suddenly lose your own apartment and no longer have a home.
