The vibrant Neustadt of Dresden is the place where long-established inhabitants meet, as well as new arrivals. Danial Alfahel is often right in the center of things. On his tour, the passionate musician from Saidnaya in Syria presents some of the meeting places of particular importance to him.

He stops for example at  “Kleines Haus des Staatsschauspiels” to talk about his experiences in the „Montagscafé“ — an intercultural meeting place. At his former language school Danial talks about the mistakes and confusion involved in learning a new language.

In Syria, Danial belonged to the Christian minority. On his tour he also talks about life with religious diversity, which he highly appreciated before the outbreak of war. In addition, he describes the long, exhausting journey he embarked on to reach Germany and explains the reasons he had to leave his home.
